To TPCBF: Scolding is a bit harsh here. It's an appeal to common sense.So why do we then have all those different sub forums to begin with? Let's just post everything just in here instead, OK? True but someone had a problem and posted in the wrong forum so rather than offering a scolding I offered help instead. It's a different approach. The top header of this forum is support.BTW in every forum available there are people talking about missing/no/lack of WUs available when the right place is NEWS. Are they being scolded also. And as you can see, the problem is solved And those people all over the place posting over and over again about the last of WUs, they should not have done that either. As for 99% of those, the answer was already out there, likely in either the News, or either one of web site or BOINC client support. But too many people are too lazy and generating so much "noise" that it becomes impossible to see if Krembil is or is not posting some real info. I did not know what other word to use to not make it too offensive.
----------------------------------------I had thought of female dog or variations of it but that was really too much and crossed a line. True about communications since February. From what I read these people at Krembil are scientists and not IT people so a bit of slack is given. What can I say? I still blame IBM. I can see them wanting out but it should have been a turn-key transfer. They have the money, the resources, and IT talent. Poo on them.... And I like IBM. Even now they should send in a SWAT team to clean up. For others reading this here are the release notes for v 7.22.0 and down. My point about empty passwords has been addressed so I take it back.
