WCG is still in a testing phase. They are sending out small batches of different projects and those WUs are generating a smaller amount of resends.
There appear to be some issues with download errors that they are probably working on now. I'm guessing, so they are still in the testing phase. They said they will announce when they are out of the testing phase, If the lack of WUs is stressing anyone out, then just wait for the "We're Back" type of announcement. |

----------------------------------------My computer started downloading ten ARP1 tasks this morning. More than three hours later, all files had not downloaded. I restarted my computer, and the downloads were completed in a few seconds. I don't know why the "backing off" and repeated attempts to download did not work as expected.  |

Someone please confirm whether or not any work units are available.
I have multiple machines with different operating systems and I have yet to see any work units given to me since IBM World Community Grid moved away from IBM and has been restarted. |

I have multiple machines with different operating systems and I have yet to see any work units given to me since IBM World Community Grid moved away from IBM and has been restarted. A few hundred are being released in test mode. Hundreds of WUs but thousands of crunchers - many are being disappointed. |

They are still in the testing phase.
There are some minor cosmetic things that still need to be resolved. But, the big focus right now is on getting the work units processed through the system, to the volunteers, then back to the system for post processing in a smooth and efficient manner. We were informed that the activity streak information would remain ON HOLD until the system was OFFICIALLY REPORTED AS fully operational and then the streak clock would restart from THAT point. It has been ON HOLD since the system went offline about Feb 28th. Work units being sent out are part of the TESTING being done. As such, they are relatively small batches (when compared to the number of volunteers) and sent out as the tech team works on troubleshooting and resolving system problems. I can relate that there are frustrations when looking at the timeline of the system move from that of a volunteer. The tech team has their hands full too with dealing with the idiosyncrasies of the transplanted system. Give them your patience and understanding, |

Someone please confirm whether or not any work units are available. The web site and the forum have been restarted, the BOINC part however has NOT been restarted yet, Krembil is still in testing mode to work some kinks out.I have multiple machines with different operating systems and I have yet to see any work units given to me since IBM World Community Grid moved away from IBM and has been restarted. So i f you get at this points WUs or not, well, that is hit and miss, as this STILL IS ONLY A TEST! Ralf  |
