I don't know if this looks promising - validated and issued 'a bit more after mid-day' on 25 August.

The validator have now looked at all my tasks that's been in "Pending Validation" status, and with eventual wingmen also having crunched the tasks. For me at least, all is well when it comes to that issue.

Here, the number of tasks in "pending validation" status has been well reduced within the past hours :-)
There are just 5 left, in contrast to about 35 this morning. However, no new tasks came in all day long :-( |

I guess those tasks still in "Pending Validation", and finished by all wingmen, are ARP1 tasks. I don't have any ARP1 tasks, I do not bother to run them on my stone age computers, even if they can finish them well in time.
And yeah, it seems as if they have stopped sending out new tasks. I've only been getting a few resends today. Anyhow, have a nice weekend all WCG volunteers. Let's hope things are improving next week, and that WCG will soon be back to normal, pre-migration status. |

I still have 1 where latest return was 29th and another 31st. Paul, that's an interesting one, but it's just another manifestation of the issue causing ARP1 tasks to get stuck at Pending Validation... The return time on the second result was after the 6-day deadline, so it got flagged no Reply at the deadline and a retry was requested. Unfortunately, because of the blockage the system wouldn't be in a position to re-assess the work unit and perhaps try to drop the retry! (If you'd already worked this out, my apologies...)Below was sent to me after 2nd returned ready for validation. Someone in another thread reported a task with three Pending Validation where it turns out that one of the original results eventually got flagged Invalid, In that case, the retry really was needed :-) Cheers - Al. |
