Make double sure that you have ticked "YES" to "Use my NVIDIA graphics card if possible:", and in the right Profile for the right computer of course.

I do not ask for CPU tasks at all, since I haven't chosen that option. I only run GPU tasks.

My requests looks like this, since I also have and iGPU card besides my NVIDIA:

World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:28	Sending scheduler request: To fetch work.	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:28	Requesting new tasks for NVIDIA GPU and Intel GPU	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	No tasks sent	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	No tasks are available for OpenPandemics - COVID 19	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	No tasks are available for OpenPandemics - COVID-19 - GPU	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	Tasks for CPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them	
World Community Grid	2021-09-30 16:11:30	Project requested delay of 121 seconds


Edit, added: And as ususal, when you complain about it, new work rolls in smile

Please post post the first 60 or so lines of the event log.
Per Grumpy's suggestion, have you confirmed that the right profile is assigned to the computer?

After uninstalling, and deleting all BOINC folders (not all as it doesn't asked me my login/password) issue seems to be fixed. :D

Now I see that Boinc tries to get GPU tasks :

Requesting new tasks for CPU and NVIDIA GPU

It's the only change at the moment, but I'm confident ;)

Problem solved by uninstalling Boinc & deleting all folders.
