Re: raspberry pi cluster setup - calling on user dataman

great information, thank you all.
it might be best to dedicate some rpi's to crunch individually and I'll keep a few for learning clustering. besides there's only one project that can run on arm

Actually there are many projects that can run on ARM. See here:

Re: raspberry pi cluster setup - calling on user dataman

Apologies for necroing a great thread.

Looking for some info about runnign WCG on a spare pi 4gb that I have a 64 bit Dietpi installed on. Previously been able to run WCG on the same device (with a different OS) but seen some issues with Debian 64 bit and WCG. It connects and runs but never gets any tasks.

Is that a common issue or just temporary because of the faulty OPN tasks?

Best regards

EFIT: nevermind, at long last I made it work with this posts help: https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg...ad,42424_offset,40#628605

They sure did! I had tried multiple reinstalls with the config edit of alt_platform but never made it fetch any tasks until I tried jab_au 's "walkthrough".

Probably the "arm-unknown-linux-gnueabihf" instead of "aarch64-unknown-linux-gnu" what made the difference!
