An oddity on my results this time through, 4 WUs on the 3600 all ran to completion in about 2:30 whilst the 4 WUs on the 3700x all failed right at the start with :-
INFO:[22:47:59] Start AutoDock for ZINC001501482997_RX1--6y84_001_gln110-rot--CYS156.dpf(Job #0)... Error: boinc_get_opencl_ids() failed with error -1 22:47:59 (251011): called boinc_finish(10) Even though both machines processed successfully first time round. GT710 gpu with Ubuntu 20.04 on both machines. |

43 beta tasks crunched on my end, distributed across a 750Ti and 1660 Super. All but one are valid. Great quota and nice job uplinger!!

@GS, If you wake up that cruncher, go to the projects tab, select WCG, then click 'Properties', you may get some useful clues. Just tried it on this machine, and I get: Don't request tasks for CPU - Project preferenceFirst and third I knew about (I set them!), but second is new to me, and up to the project to sort out as the Beta progresses. Once you see comments here that NV work is flowing again, do a manual update and it should start working again. When I try that, I don't get such lines, or any lines mentioning GPU. I use Windows 10 and a GTX 1080. |

But my fall back plan is to let those devices fail out and get limited to 1 task per day as that was not a feature back when HCC was running. I don't think that's a good idea. There will be a certain small error rate even from "good" GPUs due to various factors like overclocking, unstable drivers, even background radiation causing occasional failures in electronics (a common phennomenon for GPUs). Such handling would significantly discriminate many GPUs and leave them out of work for long periods. ![]() |

That makes it a good idea, Mumak, if overclocking, unstable drivers and background radiation are causing errors.

Good validation run, Uplinger. All my Pending Validation are now validated, except for one, still waiting for a wingman.

Your GTX 1080 isn't recognised by BOINC - Windows 10 driver problem? |

Checked 3 PCs and none have the info, 2 with 7.16.11 and 1 with 7.15.
