We are working on dropping that memory requirement now. We have about half a day of workunits at the 256 MB memory limit left and then the limit will be set to 120MB. Go ahead and attempt to connect again at around 0:00 UTC (Nov 12) and you should be able to get work.
However, I do advise those of you running with less memory to see how if it affects your system performance. Becuase the application will take up a good chunk of your available memory you may experience a lot of disk IO as memory is written and read from disk. |

We got through those workunits quicker then I expected. The memory requirement for Linux is now 120 MB. Go ahead and try attaching devices with less memory. Please post here if you have difficulties.
