That's also my experience, Al!
----------------------------------------Someone's task timed out, came back at 2024-06-24T17:59:42 (all times in UTC), then my device picked it up at 2024-07-03T13:28:06 (WU 543406168). Someone else's task didn't reply at 2024-06-25T01:01:12 and my device picked it up at 2024-07-03T14:14:39 (WU 543417704). Another task finally timed out and got returned at 2024-06-26T21:51:42 and was picked up at 2024-07-03T12:00:44 (WU 542998859). Furthermore, further looking back, I'm seeing 5 tasks picked up at 2024-07-03T10:28:40, two at 2024-07-03T09:33:55 and one at 2024-07-03T09:17:36. Interesting one: WU 542497973 has one 'No Reply' task that refuses to display its OS and OS-version. And that's not all, since these were all tasks stiil In Progress, I have also some tasks that are already Valid, of which four were sent to me at 2024-07-03T09:34:52, one at 2024-07-03T09:25:56, one at 2024-07-03T09:12:46, one at 2024-07-03T09:02:28, all originally sent on the 17th of June, and three sent to me at 2024-07-03T08:38:17, all originally sent on the 16th, of which two in their workunits also refuse to display their OS+version. And also: one of my tasks is Pending Validation, originally sent at 2024-06-17T01:03:09, received at my place at 2024-07-03T09:02:28 (WU 542333716). Adri EDIT: PS My oldest three tasks, still waiting for wingmen, were originally sent at 2024-06-16T15:52:48, and this morning at 2024-07-03T07:54:10 each one has been assigned a wingman. The number of "Waiting to be sent" tasks, is growing rapidly again. I've noticed a slight increase in the number of waiting tasks since late on 2024-07-10, but most of them seem to clear out within 12 to 30 hours, the exceptions being items that were already waiting before then but were for Aborted tasks rather than retries (it appears to be related to workunit ids in some way[*1]) I'm currently looking into something that might be a contributory factor[*2] -- have you noticed that the number or retries for Detached tasks suddenly shot up on 2024-07-09 (and seem to remain high up to now) and delayed retries started to re-appear within 24 hours... (I don't believe I'm the only person getting between 10% and 20% retries each day and seeing well over 50% of tasks involving a retry (including mine)... ) Cheers - Al. *1 I could "show my work" regarding that conclusion, but I don't think hundreds of chunks of per-WU data would go down very well here :-) *2 When I've finished that I might write it up in Unixchick's status thread in the Chat Room -- it would fit better there than here, I think :-) |

I don't see a big increase in the "pending validation" category, but I can confirm I currently have 19.4% of my pending validation are retries. Of the "in progress" items 21.8% are retries. Cheers

Queue for validation/verification is longer than usual. And again, due to “Waiting to be sent” status. Here is the oldest one from my list. We can celebrate 1 week anniversary of waiting status later today.
