374.793 returned today and until now, per the homepage.
----------------------------------------Think yesterday we returned somewhat above 450,000. So it's ramping up nicely. ![]() - AMD Ryzen 5 1600AF 6C/12T 3.2 GHz - 85W - AMD Ryzen 5 2500U 4C/8T 2.0 GHz - 28W - AMD Ryzen 7 7730U 8C/16T 3.0 GHz |

This is going to be quorum of 1. However, since this is a new application, it will take a few days for hosts to be considered reliable. This means that everyone is getting double checked to start with until reliable quality has been met. Thanks, Uplinger I looked back thru Results Status OPN Valid and approximately 3,570 WUs ago I switched from Minimum Quorum: 2 Replication: 2 with wingmen to 1:1 sans wingmen. I still see plenty of _1 and some _2 WUs in my active WUs. I'm always glad to be wingman and hope I'll keep getting those.I'm confused about comments I've seen regarding wingmen and work queue settings. I've long set my work queue to 1.0/0.1 but comments imply a shorter queue may be better. There's certainly no shortage of OPN WUs to keep one supplied even with a short queue. My 1 day setting is based on a gut feeling that it helps get more HST & ARP. What do you recommend regarding work queue settings and will we continue to serve as wingmen after being deemed reliable??? Kudos, I've yet to get an Invalid since launch. ![]() ...KRI please cancel all shadow-banning |

You'll continue to see _1 or _0 as original with wingman since each host is randomly re-verified i.e. quorum 2. No idea if there is an exact frequency, like e.g. every 20th work unit, doubt it. It's not my problem so to speak, it's the project ascertaining that nobody is trying to get smart.

My Android phones returned 7 results but just 1 was validated. All other results are waiting for other Android users to return their results so they can be validated. What's the matter? You guys piled up too many WUs or you don't use your phones for crunching any more? It's been 3 days.
---------------------------------------- C'mon, guys, hurry up!!!

You guys piled up too many WUs or you don't use your phones for crunching any more? It's been 3 days. C'mon, guys, hurry up!!! A few factors at play. 1) Some older devices have WUs run upwards of 24 hours. 2) Don't run it all the time, or they have settings which limit its performance (only run _ tasks at a time, meaning those WUs are sitting in a queue) 3) If it's their primary device, performance is limited when in use - and if it's set to the default settings to only run when the screen is off... well, that limits it even further. Be patient, please! ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by yoerik at May 17, 2020 12:18:35 PM] |

For OPN1, I have about 12 pages in PVa jail.
----------------------------------------Even for the Beta, it was a couple of results with "no reply". I do experience the same with ARP. That's live. Yves |

Returned over a week ago - no reply took hold. I once had a WU that took 3+ weeks to verify - and that was before everyone rushed into getting WUs from this project. It is indeed just how it works lol. Without patience I'd have broken something by now, waiting for all those WUs to verify. ![]() |

What you have found is common to all, not just Android, although more in that case. You will find that as you progress, the number of PV units will slowly decrease, but you are likely always to have some in that status. Some will be validated and some will be added. If any of them do not get finished in the time allotted, they will be re-sent to others who will then have only half the time to return them. Be patient and keep crunching. Mike |

Going through my WUs I noticed that there are quite a lot wingmen with Errors. They always run Win 8.1 Maybe, but then it is W8.1 plus something else.Might be an issue with Win 8.1? I have an older notebook running Windows 8.1 which has already returned 28 WUs, all valid or PV. Among them one had a repair job for an error such as described here. All three WUs ran under 8.1, all three were at level 06.03.9600.00 and the only visible differences in the status log were the version names. Unfortunately this WU has been purged from the database while I was preparing this post, so I can no longer show them reliably. I can only say that mine is Core x64 Edition. |
