Most people don't come across "SARS-CoV2" and might think it's something other than COVID-19. Better to use the name that a well intentioned person will understand than to confuse laymen to mollify bad faith actors.
----------------------------------------The "...,even death" seems awkwardly phrased. How about: "COVID 19 is a deadly, highly communicable virus that causes severe respiratory damage" That shortens the phrasing while also communicating that it causes ongoing organ damage. So many young people think they're fine if they don't drop dead, but the damage caused by the virus and the body's immune response is going to be a major public health problem going forward. Most people don't come across "SARS-CoV2" and might think it's something other than COVID-19. Better to use the name that a well intentioned person will understand than to confuse laymen to mollify bad faith actors. That is in fact not correct. The "...,even death" seems awkwardly phrased. 1. COVID 19 is not a virus! 2. Your wording leaves the impression that it always "causes severe respiratory damage". One can in fact be infected and be asymptomatic. I agree with hchc. As a compromise, can I suggest: COVID-19 is caused by a deadly, highly communicable virus that can cause severe respiratory damage. If we are to get scientific and medical folk involved, let's at least get the facts correct.

Oh dear, now why did they call in novel coronavirus? it's a virus in behavior... it penetrates the cells and uses it replication machinery to churn out more copies, in 16 pieces which assemble themselves into this full RNA string.
----------------------------------------On topic of testing of OPN1 Good evening, We have an updated version of the application that needs to be tested. It has fixes for checkpointing, log messages and increasing atom types. This may cause the application to use more memory. Please feel free to post your memory usage as well as restarting the application. The start of this beta will be small but I plan on adding over 7000 in this phase. Thanks, -Uplinger Sorry, landed 4 overnight and were finished before waking up, 51 minutes to 7 hours. That will cause the credit system to creak at all the seams again, no telling what time a docking time is to normalize points. Maybe that benchmark run at start needs to be reinserted, as a reference of points for a standard unit of known flops against time. On Android/Linux Arm, both the ones that ran on Android 7.n were invalid
BETA_OPN1_TEST029_0286_1 BETA_OPN1_TEST029_0123_1 The validating copies were sent to Windows in pair that validated OK, no Android wingman to be found. Now have a new _0 Beta on Android which went out as quorum 2, so will tell if that one fares better. |

I've had one Beta - started it and was amazed to see that it only ran for 67secs - I suspect it's going to be invalid...I hope this is just the start of a larger roll out and the next units will be more stable?

Nope, they run from less than a minute to many hours. See my comment earlier on this.

Will the betas and regular WUs run on XP machines? Got 2 on XP 32 bit, both failed as below: Result Name: BETA_ OPN1_ TEST002_ 1112_ 0-- <core_client_version>7.14.2</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> couldn't start app: CreateProcess() failed - (unknown error)</message> ]]> May be able to patch the app as before. Paul. Got 4, same issue. 4 errors might put me in beta jail. Haven't received any on my 2 android devices.

1. COVID 19 is not a virus! It seems the US CDC does not agree with you. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/index.html Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) is a virus (more specifically, a coronavirus) identified as the cause of an outbreak of respiratory illness first detected in Wuhan, China.
