Mine have cleared. The computer is effectively headless (TL:DR for here), but I'm seeing major differences in runtime between my units and the wingmen.
----------------------------------------On all samples that took longer than five minutes, the 1950x Threadripper on Ubuntu 19.10 is running tasks for several more hours than its wingmen, and that's not normal for the system. The wingmen all ran different versions of Linux, if that helps narrow it down. It could be coincidence but does anybody else notice an unusual discrepancy? YOU determine the write frequency through the "Write to disk at most every nn seconds"setting, default 60 seconds. Since a very long time I've set it to 999 seconds, 17 minutes (when the field would not allow larger numbers). Yes I am aware that we can set how often they are written. The data needed to make checkpoint must still need to be written to the hard disk even if we have preferences set for example for 17 minutes. Will all tasks write 49 checkpoints regardless of length? Should I shout? NO, it does NOT. The checkpoint for the task is skipped if it is within the set period, so if it's set to 17 minutes and it normally happens every 15 minutes, the next one will be written at 30 minutes. This is per-task. So if you have 16 of these babies running concurrent, one or the other task will be writing one much sooner, but not 16 per 60 seconds. Thank you for the information. Sorry I wasn't intending to shout in my response just wanting to highlight the checkpointing interval.

Thanks for the headup. Interesting informations with Android and Linux on Arm. I'll keep my fingers crossed that these can/will be released soon too.

The work units build manually were not sized for Android and some could take over 24 hours to run. 44 hours on 1, 22 hours on the other. |

Will the betas and regular WUs run on XP machines?
