Finally finished - just before 5:50 AM UTC on Wednesday, May 22

Certainly NOT...

This is annoying on two accounts as well as access to the stats... it is the middle of the work day in this part of the world...

1. Frequently logged off during these long updates which looses my forum profile until logging in again.
2. Not able to get into Device Manager to update device profiles...

Why prevent login during this long update and just allow access to none statistics like options...

These annoyances were not so bad when updates took less than on hour and easily planned around - but the updates are now stretching into many hours, and have done so since May 5th...

Since my initial reporting on May 15 there have been 3 other days where stats completed less late (about 2 AM UTC this morning) and on these 3 days the problem I have reported occurred again, i.e. team numbers have not been updated in My Contribution and in My Team.

Could it be that the operation which should have performed these updates is what is running much slowly on the other days?

Edit: And that would be consistent with the fact that midday stats (which don't update team stats) are not affected by this problem.

The "My Team" numbers for May 23rd were not updated. They are the same as they were for May 22nd.

We are not getting consistent usage from our database and still working with the hosting/storage team to figure out why.

A new script which periodically quizzes just 1 field through the API, total runtime, determined that the value was higher than the last full retrieve and went after the whole lot at 00:31 UTC. At least that part seems to have stabilized back to a meeting and exceeding volunteers expectations.
