Yes. I presume someone with a server farm had a wetware failure.

Yes. I presume someone with a server farm had a wetware failure. ![]() Not a one-off though, on-going for a few days at least. Had several today and last few days. Paul.

Mostly RHEL, hmm sounds like someone was using a server at work, got caught and a lot of work units got ditched, either that or someone with some serious gear changed their crunch focus and dumped units rather than waiting till new work units started to hit silicon, or as Apis said, someones got a upset system.
----------------------------------------Bloody computers, they'll never catch on. EDIT: Interesting, I've just looked at the weeks worth of queued work units on this machine and there must be around 100 from similar clusters of work that you've referenced and a quick float around my 6 machines running ubuntu shows similar levels on each. For whatever reason it sounds like theres been a major drop off somewhere. The more I think about this the more it gets closer to being a case for Mulder and Scully ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Feb 2, 2019 10:26:26 AM] |
