I love the idea of a thread for posting art, but couldn't see much art on the second link you posted (which was the only one I was inclined to click on). So here's one from me:

How about this painting of "Swallows with white gold" by artist Jackie Morris . The white gold is leaf, applied once the painting is nearing completion:



I've agreed to buy it, but she wants to get it scanned for production of a print before I can have it. Strangely enough, I know the fine art printing firm she wants to use, because it's run by a couple who both ring tower bells and I regularly go to their home tower to teach the local band.

It's a small world.
