Thanks guys. I know I've been quiet on the forums for a while. Work has been too busy and I lost two of my machines in the meantime
Managed to replace one though Cheers Vuj |

Great Crunching Vuj
----------------------------------------Despite the loss of 2 Machines Also congrats to jwilson15304 on reaching a cool 1/4 Mill. Another half and a 1/4 millionaire (I don't know how Graham keeps up with those certificates!!!) My Broadband is now back on so the team website should be back in business. My Sky got connected to some spare telephone sockets, no DSL filters = lousy service. All sorted now Hopefully a tad more reliable Keep Crunching Crew. Are we missing Joost and CompuDude's full output Team or what???? We need some assistance to take the challenge back to the IBM's Any willing volunteers? ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by David Autumns at Oct 10, 2005 7:06:30 PM] |

What with Hurricane Stan leaving Central America flooded and now the Earthquake in Pakistan
----------------------------------------I can't remember a worse 12 months and I've seen nearly 40 of them. A trumpet call to put our differences behind us and to help our fellow man. That must be one lesson we have learned this year. ![]() |

I hear footsteps - I don't think I can keep ahead of him much longer. Every day he gets closer and every day I encourage my poor machines to work harder, but to no avail. I beg for a few more points, anything to stop the relentless march. Fear has set in and the PII is quietly sobbing. Warken is coming.......

haven't yet been able to come up for air in my new Job (Week 4) which I am enjoying (which makes a change) so apologies for the lack of updates on the site and a distinct lack of posting on the forum. I now have my 5 Athlon XP 32bit powered machines up and crunching and I'm making good head way - watch out g@dget and Mr Wright
---------------------------------------- . My last cruncher really did cost me just £126.05 to make, a 2800+, as I'm lucky enough to have a Microsoft Action Pack Subscription. Hopefully the Linux Agent will be out sometime soon - also a new project would be nice to boost moral. I should be getting 64 Bit versions of XP Pro and Windows Server 2003 in the next quarterly instalment from Mr Gates so I might have to take the plunge with a Socket 939 Athlon sometime soon (You were right to take that bet - dc )Just thought I'd better let you know that you haven't been deserted and that I'm proud to be the "captain" of the greatest crunching crew on the World Community Grid. You really are the best. btw has anyone heard from Frans and Hairy4paws. Their contribution to the team thread and their sense of humour are really missed. The friends we've made through this crunching malarkey are too precious to just let go. Don't go switching off Dave ![]() |
