well here we have a change, and NO information from people who run the project ! this is why we need updates and information, not silence and ghosting

Hopefully it's a programming error on their website, and not a much, much longer ECD.
That would explain the lack of news since WCG staff said they were trying to wrap up the benchmarking experiments ASAP. Still, it seems strange that they have somebody to make changes over the holiday weekend but nobody authorized to speak to us donors. |

Was it always 101,000,000 WUs or has that number been changed which might have caused the percentage to go down. It just seems a little high.

As far as I remember, it was always same.

Hi Mumak,
Thank you very much for reporting the problem. We have checked the file server and web page. It looks that the cron script did not finish counting all jobs on the file server last week (probably due to a system termination) and reported an wrong number. We have fixed the problem. The total number of jobs completed is close to 92%. We also have prepared the batches for new target, HIV-1 Capsid. Once the alpha and best tests on the new system are completed we will launch the new simulations soon using the optimized AsyncRE framework for WCG. Thanks again. We appreciate it very much for all of contributions from WCG volunteers! JX |

Status website update:
https://fightaidsathome2.cst.temple.edu/status.html Experiments 1319-1769 Complete: 92% Based on the task completion rate over the last 30-60 it looks like current experiments will be completed by end of this year. |

Thanks JX for the fixing this!
----------------------------------------New update as of today: Experiments 1319-1769 Complete: 95% As this represents units already returned to scientists, I think we're getting pretty close to the end of currently available units in grid. ![]() |

I've gotten my first _181 work unit.
Meanwhile quite a few of its brethren are back at _135 or so. If the work units stretch past the 181st iteration, we're not at 5% left on this experiment. |

Hi Dayle Diamond ,
You brought up iterations, so I looked over my results over the last 48 hours, had about 300 completed results. The two highest iterations I found were 178 and 181. Otherwise as you pointed out many of the other iterations are in the 140's and 150's range. FAH2_ 001322_ avx101118-1-1_ 000008_ 000038_ 181 _ 0-- FAH2_ 001323_ avx101119-0_ 000004_ 000068_ 179 _ 1-- It appears that the project currently cycles thorough all experiments (1379-1769) at a rate of 30 per hour. Four days ago it was about 25 per hour. So the rate is picking up and we seem to advance about one iteration per experiment every 15 hours right now. It could be that these are left over "clean-up" jobs ?? |
