I am in the same boat as BladeD in regards to returning 16 results at a time. It will be interesting to see how long the project lasts.

Can anyone from World Community Grid or people running the project give us more information ? like what accounted for the huge sudden jump in completions or was it a website error ? what is the status and update on project progress ?? I mean if we are contributing our time and computer resources the least we could get in return are timely and detailed updates... instead we get ghosted and see radio silence , like what gives ??

Hi Herflick,
Thank you very much for contributing to FightAIDS@Home Phase 2. I am very sorry for the delay of reply. The reason for the sudden jump is that we believe that we can obtain the benchmark result in a shorter time. We changed the original design of 2.5 million steps per replica to 1.5 so that we can finish the benchmark faster. We are working on a manuscript about the implementation of AsyncRE framework on WCG and the encouraging results for accelerating the simulations of HIV-IN complexes. We probably will launch the new simulations in a month. Thank again. jcxia |

----------------------------------------Complete: 88% With the current rate we should reach 100% by the end of this year. |

Yes Mumak, it looks like around December 15th give or take this batch of experiments should be concluded given the current crunch and progression rate.
