Failed to mention System is running W10 Home with 4 GB Memory and 19 GB DASD available to BOINC. WCG is all that runs on this system. FWIW

We will be uploading new work soon. We have updated the app to fix the checkpoint bug which was identified with the second simulation type. We have also increased the memory requirements which will help with some of the issues that were seen with the second simulation type.

Got a couple on my WinXP machine and they now run OK as the subsystem is set to 5.1.

First look today so just observations from me:

Memory use inconsistent across machines but still similar to CEP
I am unclear as to what triggers a checkpoint. It seems not to be % complete

Otherwise things seem to run and complete OK looking at overnight work

Got 5 WUs from the latest batch. All crashed after around 30 s with the same message as KerSamson. I am running openSUSE Leap 42.1 with BOINC client 7.6.31. These are the first crashes I have seen for this beta test.

From batch 99999996 I got 14 tasks on my VM with Linux 3.2.0.
All valid. Run times between 7 and 9 hours.
