"Can not reattach project."?

Adding WCG is best done by changing the listed url to start with https instead of http.

Re: Project servers temporarily down

Still not working here...

Fri 22 Jul 2016 16:00:36 BST | | Fetching configuration file from https://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/get_project_config.php
Fri 22 Jul 2016 16:00:44 BST | | Project communication failed: attempting access to reference site
Fri 22 Jul 2016 16:00:53 BST | | Internet access OK - project servers may be temporarily down.

Same thing happens whether I use https or http. Something wrong on WCG's end? Debian Jessie here.

boinc --version
7.4.23 x86_64-pc-linux-gnu

Re: Project servers temporarily down

Hi - thanks for the suggestion, I hadn't seen that.

Unfortunately sources look fine, and all packages (including SSL) are up to date.

I might try upgrading to Stretch - it's a VM that doesn't really do much except torrent / BOINC, so not much harm in it.

Cheers.

Re: Project servers temporarily down

Upgraded to Stretch, and everything seems to be working.

No idea if it was the SSL version, but thanks for the nudge anyway.

Yup, saw that one a couple of times too, but pretty much all hosts that I checked are showing
Another scheduler instance is running for this host
and are not able to report any WUs...
