Completed Work Units Can't Upload; Can't Get New Work Units
Hi all,

I've completed almost 120 work units but there are all pending to upload. Also, no new work units are being sent to me.

In the status column, it keeps repeating "Scheduler request pending. Requested by project. Trickle up message pending. Communication deferred ......"

It has been so for 2 days. I've restarted the programme, restarted my computer and restarted my network but to no avail.

Kind advises please.

What does the Status say under the Projects tab? (ctrl-shift-P)
Restart the BOINC Manager. What does your Event Log say? (ctrl-shift-E)

Project status says, "Scheduler request pending. Request by project. Scheduler request in progress, Trickle up message pending."

I did the easy way out, detach and reattach project solved it. Thanks for the advice. Weird that it happened all of the sudden. I ran this for more than 8 years and this is the first time i get this issue.

Yes I am currently working to fix the issue. I am sorry that your computer was stuck on it. I am about to update the scheduler to allow for more logging of specifics needed to debug the problem. It appears that the scheduler is getting stuck when choosing the best application version for a result that is going to be sent. It is retrieving bad information and causging the scheduler to stop early, thus no end xml tag.

Looks like detach and reattach just solve the issue temporarily, issue is back again....

Can you please show me your latest Event Log? Reason I ask is when I look up in the scheduler log, i get a successful completion and 1 result sent to you.

I clicked update and the failed downloads cleared up. Then I restarted the programme and things are back to normal now. I did the above before seeing your message here, hence the older log is gone.
