Since about noon CET this is going on, just back, cannot report results [the RtR clearing], and the website is very intermittent as are the API exports breaking off... the scripts break off on timeout.

Our monitoring failed on one of the web servers and a filesystem filled up which has been causing issues over the past few hours. This has been cleared, and we are now seeing a flood of requests getting processed and devices request work and catch up. I expect this to clear out in the next 15 minutes and we will be back to normal behavior.

Whether needed or not, 1 in 2 or 3 secure connects bombs, only WCG, so it's not the intertubes

This might be connected to the server problem, when my hosts connected this morning they all downloaded a lot of png files and some others not W.U;s. Just letting you know sorry about the length. smile

Are you continuing to receive this error message? I was experiencing the same thing before I cleared the filesystem but after it caught up I didn't get it any more.

If you are still seeing it, is it on your browser or on a boinc client?

"but after it caught up" the notable passage. Not seen the issue crop up again this morning. WCG web responsive, back to normal.

New PC, and trying to get my BOINC working again. Cannot add WCG project - message in event log says that project servers may be down. Tried the https and no luck. Any suggestions?

Can you post your message log from the client here so that we can see what is says?

It would be helpful if you created (or edited if it is already present) a file at:

C:\ProgramData\BOINC\cc_config.xml

and put:

<cc_config>
<log_flags>
<http_debug>1</http_debug>
<http_xfer_debug>1</http_xfer_debug>
</log_flags>
</cc_config>

and then restarted your BOINC client, attempted to connect and then posted those message logs.
