I got three of the new units, and unfortunately mine also stopped shortly after starting. I hope that you are able to sort out this project shortly because this is a great project and I miss working on this project

Many will surely have liked this 'extended Beta' to run through the 'Beta pipeline'  . You don't say, but what version of app are you employing for this elongated trial?+1 I've also received one unit and it also errored out in seconds. IMHO if it's going to be tested it should be done as a Beta and only go to those who have oped to test potentially flaky WU's, knowing and agreeing to what that entails, especially as CEP units are quite resource intensive. Or is that the reason that it's gone out as CEP rather than Beta? If it went out as Beta would it perhaps not respect the CEP max units preference in device profiles and potentially load all a PC's cores up with these heavily I/O intensive units running at once? |

First let me say I am sorry about the issues with this first batch I sent out. It has a work unit issue and we are working with the researchers to clean it up.
I was confident in the work units and opted to go for a larger scale test as we had good results on Beta last. We will end up having to run the next batch in beta because of this though. There is no eta on that unfortunately. I will let you know as soon as possible. These workunits have failed instantly, no CPU time was utilized. I did set this to run through the new Object Storage which proved to work really well and quick from my tests. Again, I am sorry for getting hopes up then having an issue. Thanks for the update.
----------------------------------------If it goes out as Beta next time will it respect the CEP limits of the machine's normal device profile? i.e. If an 8 core machine is attached to a device profile that limits CEP to only 1 unit at a time, will Betas be limited also, or could a machine get 8 running together? I only ask because I have a machine that I wouldn't mind getting a few running together, but another machine that I'd prefer to limit to only 1 running at a time. How often are CEP2 betas going out? It's starting to cool down in my area and I'm looking for some co-gen. I'd love to help CEP2 get through betas instead of crunching on Enigma. I have Beta enabled, but haven't seen anything come across in a few days.
