Run some other project but with an empty queue requesting Help Stop TB WUs. If any are available, they should show up by the time you are ready for more WUs.

Now, BladeD, you have no idea how illiterate I am.
Don't go down that road. Don't. Please. You'll hate me in two minutes flat. Please nail a pillow to your ceiling. For beginners: What is a queue (except for being an interesting word)? See! That's not a way for you to start out of It's OK, I'm satisfied with the other projects Besides: a new Base Camp badge is coming up by May 1st |

I like simple questions...
----------------------------------------A queue are the WUs waiting to run on your phone/PC. So, an empty queue means you have no WUs waiting to run. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by BladeD at Apr 28, 2018 7:56:54 PM] |

OK. So far so good.
The downloaded ones? Those I'm fed automatically from the WCG server based on preferences? Which happen in my case to be all projects. Those I wiped out in order to test if I would get TB? Those were my queue? But what if no TB comes? - and it's in the middle of the night and my 'devices' have no work? No queue? |

But what if no TB comes? - and it's in the middle of the night and my 'devices' have no work? No queue? Since you know how many WUs you run overnight, leave that many in your queue so you don't run out of work. |

Since you know how many WUs you run overnight, leave that many in your queue so you don't run out of work. Now, that varies a lot, so to say I 'know' would be to take it too far.I get Fight AIDS that runs for up to 36 hours - and the estimated processing times are not to be trusted in my end. I suggest we drop it, BladeD, before I drive you nuts. I think I lead a happy life - and so do my 'devices' - with what I do. It's only ... it feels like something you ought to conquer ... some challenge .... - but I'll forget it overnight. ![]() |

In your preferences, set work buffer to 1 day.
----------------------------------------After your queue is filled, change settings to get only Help Stop TB WUs. In your preferences, set work buffer to 2 or more days. |

This is too embarrassing, BladeD
- I cannot even find preferences I told you It's hopeless - I'm dopeless It reminds me of an episode several years ago when TLD insisted on me crunching with my graphics card ... some Collatz .... I don't know how but he sent me though an update of that card and much, much more - I have no idea what happened but my neck was flaming red afterwards and my hands shake again now just thinking about it. |

Well...in BOINC Manager on the main menu under Tools, you should find Computing preferences
---------------------------------------- An update to your graphics card is Surgery. This is putting on a band-aid. |

Well...in BOINC Manager on the main menu under Tools, you should find Computing preferences I can do that. Then you tell me to In your preferences, set work buffer to 1 day. Which work buffer? Do you think I need a new version of BOINC Manager? I don't do updates after midnight An update to your graphics card is Surgery. You can say that again. This is putting on a band-aid. When you are you, not if you were me I should have learned my lesson. Men want to fix things for women. Women don't always want things fixed. Men think they have a mission to complete and work energetically and goaloriented to do that. Ergo, women go along until desperation in order not to disappoint the men who makes this gesture in the most sincere way which women find very touching. Am I off topic? How do I wiggle myself out of all this kindness, BladeD? |
