Got my first group of T325/T350 WUs. Looking forward to more long-runners coming through the pipeline.

Well a few days ago I accidentally got one.
----------------------------------------SWEET. So I started reading about HSTB and found they were trickling out a bit. OK now I started manually updating at 3,33 and have picked up a few. I got one day, now maybe I can get the 124 to get to 2 years. ![]() |

I am now able to keep a couple of cores running HSTB most of the time.
----------------------------------------I'm slowly trundling along towards a sapphire badge but, with limited crunching power, it will likely take about 3 months to achieve. Let's hope the work continues to flow.

Per today's Gallup poll extrapolations, the number of validations will be around 5600 +/- 200 and the running 7 day average around 4K (i.e. 28K done in the last week). Without me doing anything [but setting profile to exclusive], got 70 in backlog, helping the T000 and T001 ahead by hand as these sit there with 7 hours on them, when they take 2.5... to counter cache bloat. Still by this pace, blue badge by mid 2019.

Been running back and forth exclusive/ others for about a week now, have pulled all I can handle and then some. also been bumping t000/001's now have cache under estimated by about 2:1 and been pushing cache DOWN to keep from exploding. Started with 2.5 day cache and now at 1,75 with estimated 14.5 day backlog (all 300,325,400) that I know will be about 29 days worth.
this is my 8 core box so not a problem, but guess-timator still wanting to add more if cache size stays at 2.5. just a word of warning for those running bigger caches, panic mode may be coming your way |

I have picked up 12 WU in the past 3 hrs!!! I have been stuck at 30 days for over 3 months. I have gotten Ruby in SCC over the same period.

No post to this thread in the almost 12 hours... something must be afoot
![]() Anyway, the 5600 +/- 200 prediction turned out to be 5900 for the 16th [validations], and for today it's over 7K. My caches are bursting, and given that there's something amiss with the 7.16 32 bit version, have a good dozen of _2 of those in amongst... maybe these fare better on 64 bit osses ![]() |

And so 7K turned out to be 7.8K validations yesterday, and, going by this mornings' numbers, 11K is maybe a new trend-setter
03/18/2017 7:264:04:53:06 10,896,849 5,586 03/17/2017 10:014:13:31:54 14,374,853 7,835 03/16/2017 7:055:01:30:19 10,263,964 5,906 Were it not, that my laptop is needing 40Hrs for each T300 and above and the 4770K is needing 17-24... full traffic jam, as they arrived with 7 hours as TTC tag. Yes, the ministry of silly walks rules here, but since breaking <dont_use_dcf/> the buffers read as having 5 days plus for 16 cores, though only wanting 2 days, or 80 days CPU-time worth. No, with the new adage from rump-house, it's 'me first', 'meeeee firrrrst'. Comprender ;? |

I give up on trying to understanding how BOINC requests/prioritizes work units.
My least capable AMD quad core has consistently received more work per processor than any of my others (despite being configured to do 50/50 CPU work alongside Einstein), while my 16-thread Xeon crunching-only box has run dry as of this morning, and has only been fully populated twice since the new/larger stream of work started. Meanwhile, when the Xeon does receive HST work, BOINC suspends ("Waiting to run") the most complete work units from Einstein rather than the least complete. (Fortunately, I've got 32GB of RAM in the Xeon box.) |

Well, after reaching a high water mark of 11,054 on the 18th of March, we seem to be on a downward spiral again. I just hope we don't end up at the levels we were just over a month ago.
