Re: New Beta Test - February 25, 2016 [ Issues Thread ]

Hm, wondering why the current Beta is using GROMACS v4.6.1, which is 3 years old...

Re: New Beta Test - February 25, 2016 [ Issues Thread ]

I'm running mostly Office 2010, because it's *very stable* and has *all the features* that I need in 99% of the cases. Office 2013 and more so 2016 is unstable, and has all sorts of problems to include memory hungryness. Would you use them in production if you knew that on an endless variety of unknown spec volunteer machines? I would not!

(If it is the project that I guess it is, it's been in development a long time... don't fix what's now not broken).

Yep, being a programmer I very well understand the "don't change a running code" ;-)
I was just wondering because of our *extreme* speculations about a possible GPU version, which might work better with later GROMACS versions ;-)

@techs: Is the HST1 in the beta tasks name the definitive acronym for this new project? Asking because then I can start the base Charting DB design and dev work.

thx

When the wingman processes the other WU of the pair.

I still got lots of Valid BETA WUs from months ago.

Was that an assumption? (All my HST1 are quorum complete, one member even wrote in to have seen a 'Try Validation', something that has become kind of a redundant function, since validations these days are not skipped, when the validator does run.)

Surely the techs do the same as is regular routine... first have most test results collate before switching the validator on to collect bulk stats [seems almost as not to be possible after they've done so].

The validator will likely start later today or tomorrow.

Thanks,

I have a task that is at 227% complete after 10.5 hours. I have suspended it for now. It is not a resend. What should I do with it?
