Got four WUs here; all are listed normally on results page when filter is applied. All are checkpointing regularly. They'll take closer to twenty hours on ole Betsy, here, but everything is fine so far.

I vote for "Help Stop Taxes". Another "T" that comes to my mind is "Trump".
----------------------------------------BTW, the GROMACS app can have a CUDA version too ;-) [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mumak at Feb 26, 2016 9:30:17 AM] |

What are the disk and memory requirements for this ? Paul. On Windows7: The slot needs for 1 task a bit over 6MB disk space and memory usage 106MB. Check-pointing is every 5 minutes independent of how many simulation steps are made in that time. Resuming after suspend (LAIM off) is fine: Writting checkpoint at step 6470. [09:11:59] INFO: Running initial simulation Reading checkpoint file state.cpt generated: Fri Feb 26 09:05:46 2016 [09:16:21] INFO: Completed step 7000 of initial simulation Writting checkpoint at step 7090. In stderr 'writing' is written with double t ('writting') Guessing 1 task is doing 100,000 steps, a task will need about 15 hours on my i7 2600. In a Linux VM on a AMD Opteron 6172 a task will need over 24 hours. |

If it is 'that' HST, than I know... it would have been in the pipeline for a very long time, to indicate there's serious lead time to bring some projects to production.
(Got 4 on the octo, and they sit behind 8 FAHB that just started themselves [in high priority]). |

----------------------------------------I thought HFCC2 was next in line or possibly Zika.....but we'll see. Always exciting!!!

"Check-pointing is every 5 minutes independent of how many simulation steps are made in that time."
As was indicated by Armstrdj, but does a change to 6 minutes or more result in the checkpoint being delayed i.e., is the app listening to the BOINC setting if set higher? |

It seems that 5 minutes is hard coded. Increased my BOINC setting of 60s to 360s and the checkpoint interval stays on 5 minutes writing a 3MB state file. |

The app only reads the setting during (re)start i.e. changing the setting on-the-fly does not work. I prefer 10-15 minutes WTD setting to reduce disk hitting.

BTW, these Betas have a 10 day deadline [if that was not already commented on before].
