Re: System Update: Saturday Feburary 7th, 0300 UTC

All my completed units have uploaded quickly and reported, and new tasks downloaded ok - all betas :) Well done to all concerned for achieving a major upgrade.

Minor niggle: adding a new forum post results in this error, but the post does get added to the thread: "Error 500: java.lang.Error: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org.apache.jsp._addpostsuccess (wrong name: com/ibm/_jsp/_addpostsuccess)".

Yeah, I'm noticing some issues with the forums. I rebuilt the indexes on it to see if that fixes it. I may need to restart the application servers that host the forums. But I want to see if this works first. Also, I am not getting the "NoClassDef*" error.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Hey Ralf,

Thanks for the post, we have the bandwidth, but with such a backlog of agents backed off, it'll take a few hours to clear it as usual. I just tested upload from one of my agents and they succeeded.

Scheduler is online also. I am monitor the logs to make sure things are going as expected. Members may see a high load message from time to time as it catches up.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Why in the world was this maintenance scheduled in the middle of a beta test? Have all the betas been sent out or is there more to come?

Thanks,

Re: System Update: Saturday Feburary 7th, 0300 UTC

nanoprobe,

This maintenance window was scheduled long before the beta was planned. The Beta came with this thought process from my end. We can start it before the outage and get results out to hosts and have replys by the beginning of next week. When we can make a determination to start OET1 back up if the data is good. This was my choice as alpha test ran clean on our end and I did not anticipate any issues.

Thanks,
-Uplinger

Please let me know if you have the error 500 post? I restarted the forum application and just made the last post without issue. But I live in a bubble and would like others to confirm if possible.

Thanks,
-Uplinger
