I notice that the run time for this WU (6.32 hours) is about double the average RT for other FAHV WUs. I just had several of these fail on this error. It ran for a whopping 35-60+ hours on XEON 5520's and up. |

I would like to apologize for lost CPU time due to the file upload errors. This was caused by shorter jobs and more jobs needing to be put into a single workunit to help the runtime averages to be decent to help with database load. By doubling the size of the result file limit, this should help prevent this in the future. Again, I am sorry for the frustration. -Uplinger I'm sorry, so where in the client_state.xml do we change this? I too have wasted days and days of computing time on this project and am considering opting out of FightAIDS altogether. Why is there no bulletin or formal fix being sent out? Wayne |

Already the existing projects are being prepped, increased in job size, so ugm can be started with small, if the beta was an indication. The super file system of the future can still not handle 2 million results daily? Yesterday 1.138 million, today maybe just over 1 million, and part will surely move off the existing projects and rush onto the new one.
