Linux Mint 16

Will WCG work with Linux Mint 16 ? Which download will work with it ?
Will the download get me started? My son put this Linux on my computer to replace Win. XP. I don't know much about this Linux. My son won't be available for another 3 weeks. Can someone help me get this working?

Re: Linux Mint 16

The short answer is yes. You will need to download BOINC. Click on the menu, then Program manager then enter password if necessary. In the Program manager search for BOINC. Then download the meta package. It should install all the necessary packages for you.
Cheers
