What do you say? Next up 60 Million biggrin

Let's see if we can do it before 5th November (Bonfire Night in the UK)

We'll need to average 250,000 a day but we already have 165,000 in the bag.

Your thoughts on this target please

smile Hey David
biggrin I seem to recall you saying that you was coming after me
laughing What a shame, that they ran out of cheap bartons, mate
biggrin I added another PC while you were away to give me a cushion

Dave --
We have crunched at 260,000 a day, but not at that level recently. I think it will be a stretch. How about by the US Thanksgiving holiday (4th Thursday in November)?

Re: smile smile smile Join MyOnlineTeam Today! smile smile smile

First CONGRATULATIONS to all of the contributing MOT members for helping MOT make 50,000,000 points!!!
Way to go team....

Congratulations to all of the 1/4 million point makers and the SIX DIGIT CLUB members I've missed as of lately.

I think we could make Dave's deadline if everyone just kicked the WCG back on and started to crunch. We have a lot of members who may have lost some intrest or forgot what were trying to do. So to all active crunchers keep on crunching, and to all not so active or who have lost their way come back and start those machines back up!!! MOT and the WCG NEED YOUR HELP!!!!!!!!

Re: Good Grief

To all team members of MOT living in the bay area I hope all is well for each of you. My sister lives in League City Texas which is just about 13 miles west of Galveston Bay. They are in Austin since Wednesday and there house was spared as far as they know. Maybe some wind damage, but nothing major like some places. She will return home tomorrow to see just how bad they got hit. Regardless material stuff can be replaced but not human life.
STAY SAFE AND KEEP UP YOUR SPIRITS. THE WORLD IS WITH YOU ALL IN THIS TIME OF TROUBLE AND NEED. GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL!!

Re: Good Grief

thanks for the concern. everyone in my family and most of my friends escaped with little or no damage to body and property. however, they tell us that it will be 3 to 6 weeks before we get power back to the region. this may affect my point production for a while wink

i do have a couple of "rouge" systems with parents and others that will produce minimum points during that time, but it will be a long time before full production is reached. internet access is rather difficult to come by, so i won't be able to keep in touch until the power comes back on. until then we will just sweat a lot. biggrin

keep crunching for the world. biggrin

Re: Good Grief

Parmesian --

So glad to see you reporting in. It certainly didn't look good for your area for a while. Even then, I saw one live newscast from across the bay from you during the storm and it was still prety severe. I hope your power gets restored in short order so you can be comfortably crunching in your air conditioned home again.

So close d oh

Good to hear from you Parmesian, no worries you just take care of your friends and family there's plenty of time for crunching on better days than this to come.

Morning Graham I'm coming to get you wink
You see team here is a prime example of Teams creating more crunching for the World Community Grid biggrin
I now check out this page every morning to see where the "Battling Brits" are

http://www.worldcommunitygrid.org/stat/viewCo...points&countryCode=GB

There are 10 of the MOT Crew on that first page today! bl1nxz, Graham, Jonathon Wright, stares, swordfishradio, bobgctsu, charlie99, me, g@dget and John Woods.

btw Graham I've 889 in the bag already for today and it's only 4 1/2 hours since the last update biggrin biggrin biggrin biggrin
