mvnForum special features None of this provides me any value nor enhances my forum experience, in case anyone is taking yet another poll.Support multilanguage Support private messages Share photos among members (available only in Enterprise Edition) Polls (available only in Enterprise Edition) Built-in LDAP supports (available only in Enterprise Edition) Hierarchy Categories (available only in Enterprise Edition) Multiple images upload with Applets (available only in Enterprise Edition) Statistics Reports (available only in Enterprise Edition) I expect that what it will do is dramatically drive up disk space required (at an ongoing additional COST), increase data volumes and demands on bandwidth (at an ongoing additional COST), require even more support (at an ongoing additional COST) and demand more time from the Admins and Techs (none currently available). Sure its great to throw about promises to pay for something as if the pittance you are offering solves the problem, but no one has offered to cover the COST. You are only offering to cover the PRICE. I do not know whether you know the difference. I am pretty certain the Admins do. Hence their (properly) ignoring your strident demands. |

I see you avoided the question of your credentials. Well, no surprise there I suppose.
----------------------------------------As for your attempt to demean the offer of a donation that I made, I consider that being rude - since politeness seems to be so important to you I thought I'd also point that out. Finally as to what it might "COST" WCG, that is a non-issue unless and until someone with some actual qualifications regarding that matter weighs in. Judging from your previous posts, I'm pretty sure that person ISN'T you. ![]() ![]() |

I also have an MBA in finance. Does that also help? I have a dog catcher's license, 3rd place in a soap box derby, and a degree in Zero pandasHow does that compare to your credentials Astrolube? Since you have requested my services as a guidance counsellor, counsellor, for your next accomplishment, I suggest at least a college certificate in English. |

Finally as to what it might "COST" WCG, that is a non-issue unless and until someone with some actual qualifications regarding that matter weighs in Yet your entire premise for this thread is that WCG can afford the cost, which now you admit that you have completely ignored. It's always so easy when someone else is paying the bills. |

Oooo. Someone is so upset they're double posting. I'm sorry if I had anything to do with that. Hehehehe.

As for your attempt to demean the offer of a donation that I made, Not so counsellor. What I was pointing out is that your offer to pay a fraction of the 10s of thousands of the total lifetime cost to upgrade the software, disk space, bandwidth and staff costs, in my opinion, was highly inconsiderate to the WCG Admins who have the qualifications to make these decisions. |

I think I've already responded to your baseless claims as to the "COST." Did you miss that? Please try to pay attention.

Sorry if this was covered, but there is free forum software that's better than this, isn't there? Aren't there any volunteers working on WCG who can upgrade to better forum software or is it only paid staff who would have the power to do that?
And am I the only one getting frequent internal service errors when trying to navigate to this forum? |

As far as I can tell, you've contributed all of about 200 pts to the project. Why do you care?

Because it's so weird to see a forum associated with a company like IBM that's so out of date. I was wondering if IBM doesn't want to help competitors by using their software so they chose software from a company that's nowhere close to being competition, but from what I'm reading, it seems to be something else. I just hope they at least care about the technical side because the health of my computer is at stake. At this early stage, I don't have much to loose by switching to F@H but I've had past technical issues and I decided I should try WCG. I hope I made the right choice.
