Re: Ripple Labs

I'm not sure what your point is exactly Johnnie. Mine is that regardless of how well (or poorly I suppose - based on those numbers) the RL team may be doing, the fact of the matter is that the number of active members is on a steady decline and approaching levels that we haven't seen since before the giveaway.

twilyth I wasn't making a point as such, merely highlighting some stats that might be of interest to RL members in general. (There doesn't appear to be anyone producing team stats as such). Sorry for any confusion.

Re: Ripple Labs

Sorry. It wasn't clear to me that you were just making a team related post.

But even so, don't you find those numbers disturbing?

Re: Ripple Labs

Has anyone got any hard cash for these XRP. I don't see why anyone would offer cash for them, the value seems imaginary.

Re: Ripple Labs

some people here have done it but it seems a little complicated if you exchange from XRP to a hard currency like dollars.

However I did just notice today that you convert to specific currencies via the Ripple wallet. But that's only if you have what they seem to call a 'trust line' to a 'USD gateway.' Under the wallet icon, click the 'convert' option.

As far as I know, others have made the conversion via an exchange like bitstamp.

Re: Ripple Labs

I got a $300 Amazon gift card via gyft.com directly from my Ripple wallet. Just need an account at gyft.com and Amazon. Can also use other merchants like Target and Barnes and Noble.

Go to trade and in the "change issuer" field add this: rvYAfWj5gh67oV6fW32ZzP3Aw4Eubs59B

That is the Bitstamp ripple address.
You will now see bids and asks for the currency you selected.
You can do this for all the currencies Bitstamp supports.
