thank you for the new beta. ----------------------------------------... and the solution to that problem is upgrading to v7. That one is instructed by WCG to ignore the Duration Correction Factor [DCF], locking it to 1.000000. You could of course stop the client, edit the file and start client again so tasks in a little would assume server averages, but instructing how would be completely outside of this thread. Upgrade to Berkeley release candidate 7.2.26 [meaning if no show stopper is found in the 14 days since release, it will be promoted, by Berkeley]. The upgrade is quick and mostly lossless... prudency advises on checking that the new client installer points to the same data folder as the v6 is running against [assuming we're talking Windows]. 4 already errored out: - 3 of them "exceeded elapsed time limit 2934.55 (1749949.51G/570.75G)" after 48:54 mins elapsed time (0.81 h CPU time) - 1 of them the same error after 43:48 mins elapsed time (0.73 h CPU time) - 1 PVal after 1.18/1.19 h All of them on my Win7 SP1 64b, i7-3770, 7.2.26, 8GB RAM, 60GB SSD rig running only OS, BOINC and MS Security Essentials. 7 CEP2 WU's left in memory. All 4 I received on my Mac OS X 10.9. (Mavericks), i5-2500S, 7.0.65, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD, small SSD with OS only - my main PC with ESET CyberSecurity - are still running. 1 FAAH WU left in memory. On both Win and Mac I am shrubbing PrimeGrid PPS SV GPGPU OpenCL AMD/ATI WU's (will not continue with them during this Beta) ETA1: - running 8 tasks concurrent on Win and 4 concurrent on Mac - RAM per task on Mac: 165 - 217MB - RAM per task on Win: 52 - 110MB - LAIM on for both PC and rig ETA2: got a few more errors as mentioned above (one of them claims huuuuuuge credits: 378,4 for 0.99 h CPU time / 1.16 elapsed time), but after techs' intervention, everything seems to run OK. Some WU's went Valid (OK, one of them ATM  ), some of them are PVal.CPU time: from 0.02 - 2.67  Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. File: (null) Line: 0 ERROR: Expression: (null) You wont miss much of the grpahics, since when they do load you get a blackish screen with a progress bar and a percent + the BOINC/WCG/IBM logos... all you get in BETA testing. But with respect to this crashing, as with the science app, the science graphics is an app too. Maybe the securities settings [AV or Firewall], where the science app talks over port 31416 to the science app. |

Task 9999985_ 0379a_ 0 finished after .96 of an hour with the max time allowed exceeded message. This was immediately send out to another user. I am running Windows 7 Ultimate fully patched. I'm using ESET Smart Security 7.0.302.0 my system what was not running the scan when this task was running

No luck. I had two error out after 50 minutes with similar results.
