Re: Arriving Monday! Two 12 core E5-2697 V2 Ivy Bridge Xeons

First numbers:
Statistics
Date .Total Run Time(y:d:h:m:s) Points Generated Results Returned
10/22/2013 0:031:19:15:40..............160,759.............. 423
OK, so lets extrapolate
Round numbers lets call it 31.5/48th of a full day yes?
So 160,759 divided by 31.5 equals 5103.46 times 48 equals 244,966 PPD on a full "48 HOUR" day..
Not too shabby I guess and toss in MJ12 was running so it lost a little bit!
Oh, and most of that day it was at 3187MHz and only at 3226MHz for the last few hours of the day..
Yea, I'll take it and smile! biggrin

Movieman, please let me know when you have a yard sale. I would love to stop by and pick up some things to replace my decrepit Intel Q9450. wink

Thanks.

Re: Arriving Monday! Two 12 core E5-2697 V2 Ivy Bridge Xeons

Interesting BUT I may have been mislead a bit as it looks like my first day with these chips coincided with one of those days where we all see a bit more credit than usual..I need to watch over a few days to get a better idea of what these are producing but regardless they are excellent.
I could see a 30% drop in estimated output and still be happy with what they are doing.. biggrin

Very nice, although it appears the guy with the quad opteron's has you beat for now. That would probably change if you ran Linux.

It would undoubtedly change if he was to run Linux, probably up 50% or more.
Cheers

Agreed. Movieman, you need to run Linux so we can see what this rig can really do. Did you say you had a Hard Drive with Linux/WCG preloaded?

BTW, thanks for the link above. I did not realize my 4P rigs were #2 and #4 in daily top production.
