This is totally from a layman's perspective, but it seems we're very quickly burning through all the FAAH work units, soon to be at the end of AD VINA Experiment 48 (batch 197694).
----------------------------------------Could it be that within a week or two we might exhaust all current FAAH work units plus resends and then make quick work of what remains on CEP2? ![]() |

As one layman to another your post is mildly humourous but inaccurate as you would realise if you took a little time to read the relevant posts from the project scientists especially mgl_DNSantiago . FA@H is expected to continue for quite some time even at the present accelerated rate of crunching.

Thanks... I have been reading the FA@H updates and even their status page. I've been looking at the experiments posted, the associated completed percentages, and estimating work units remaining by tracking the batch numbers I've been crunching for months.
----------------------------------------Unless the FA@H status page is updated with additional experiments, it appears that we will quickly complete available work. Also, note that I said "complete available work" and not a complete end to FA@H. Just wondering if we will be temporarily working ourselves out of business for a short while. This may be a good place to ask, does anyone know or has anyone heard if there are any new projects on the horizon?
----------------------------------------Just having two projects to pick from is great for those projects & will move them forward quickly. However, one of the things that brought me here lo those many years ago was that WCG had lots of different choices & I could find something to work on that I had some connection to. I know that there are lots of different choices under the BOINC umbrella & will venture out there if I must but I'd rather stay here & keep adding time to my Grid stats. Thanks ![]() |

There is another project in preparation, though no details on what it is yet. It's expected to go into Beta trials in the next month or so. The (in)exact time frame given by the techs was "Fall" which I translate from the American to mean sometime this Autumn.

Originally. But because of some "non-trivial issues" it was postponed to (current) fall (aka autumn).
