Re: Going into Retirement!

Those machines have integrated graphics and a 300 watt PSU.

HP prolly dont expect their average user to slap a card like that in it Alan.

Re: Going into Retirement!

Right click on the rotating bar, select view image [in FF at least], remove the image bit to be left with dcstat.com and enter, and voila, the mousy stats generator site comes to you. Method to find origins is for almost all images on forum the same.

@Scribe - I have several of these cards, all through this thread, something has been bugging me. Then it came to me! The system requirements for these cards lists PSU as 500Watt minimum! Is your system going to have the 300 w PSU as suggested above?

It is unlikely to work correctly if at all if it is...

Systeb requirements canbe checked here - http://www.amd.com/uk/products/desktop/graphi...Pages/radeon-7770.aspx#/3

Re: Going into Retirement!

Yep, and PC World should know that.

They should not be suggesting to customers, that they will put a splitter cable on an inadequate PSU for them.

John, 'Mousie' is the developer of that stats bar. It can be found at http://dcstat.com .

Re: Going into Retirement!

You can bet that as (and when) they say it is ready for me I willl ask them to confirm (in writing) that the fitted PSU is suitable for the purchase wink
