Still no joy, just received this

Mail server for "worldcommunitygrid.org" unreachable for too long :

--- Below this line is a copy of the message.

seems that the mail server problems are still here.

I'm not sure what the headers are showing. Can you enlighten me?

Re: Douglas

My e-mail is web based yahoo mail. The return message stating that it could not deliver to WCG, taking too long. Would suggest that mail server issues at WCG not completely resolved.

NNFMP is an internal protocol not recognised by IANA or the RFC`s. Yahoo uses this protocol to internally route email traffic across their network. The acronym stands for "Newman No-Frills Mail Protocol".

Re: Douglas

They just look like internal routing messages from Yahoo's network. I run a couple of mail servers and I have a fairly low opinion of Yahoo since I've had various issues with them in the past.
Having said that, neither mail1.worldcommunitygrid.org nor mail2.worldcommunitygrid.org appear to be working sad

Good morning, bloody cold and frosty up here in Newcastle.. worried

Didn't realise you were a local lad Kris. I live in North Shields.

Its a small world crooks just live along the road from you Walkergate.

The Boss is from North Shields.
You'll have to fill use in how the new hardware performs.

It certainly is a small world. Cant wait for the new hardware to arrive. The 2 no. 40" Phillips 4k monitors will be with me tomorrow. Shame I have nothing to plug them into! sad

Warning... stereotype alert...
So do you guys use all this crunching power to keep your homes warm in the grim north?

Actually it would be nice to know what everyones hardware is and where all this crunching power is located, but I guess some poeple don't want their employers to be too well informed.
biggrin

It certainly is grim up North. I was in Southampton on Monday. It was like a summers day.

The added heat will be much appreciated. Its the only way I can justify 320 watts of TDP (CPUs only on the new monster) running 24/7 with the current price of electricity!

It might get grim up North but at least we go to work even when the snow is a inch deep.
