Re: Project Mix

On a not so nice note, we've just been informed that the Doctors have found a largish Tumor in my wife's brain, it ISN'T Malignant (thanking god for that), and it IS operable, so now we're playing the waiting game for further news on when the OP is going to be, what the implications are ect.

Please pray (or keep my wife in your thoughts, if not religious), and run everything you can on MCM1 for a short while to help boost the completion of this research in my wife's name (Louise).

Thankyou smile

I'm about to go 100% on everything for a few days hugs

Crikey TMC, really hope the op is soon and everything goes well for you both. Send the best wishes from everyone on the team to your good lady wife, we're thinking of you. MCM is top of the munching list at present.

My thoughts are with Louise and yourself. I know times like these can be tough and I hope good news follows soon.

ps. I have switched 100% to MCM1.

My thoughts and best wishes are with Louise and youself, TMC.

I've been primarily running MCM1 since it was launched, but will continue to do so (including on the new 24-thread beasty). Hopefully, Louise's op won't be too far in the future, and they can get everything sorted out!

Re: LunchCrunch Report

Personally I'm still slowly sliding down the charts. But then I've just been on a brewery tour and now expect to snore (quietly) my way through one of the RSC's productions this evening, so why should I care?

Ah, the pleasure of a brewery tour and, I trust, a tasting or two. Where did you go, Apis?
Hope you didn't snore too loudly, just a gentle snooze wink

Oh shoot. I'm so sorry to hear that awful news.

I sincerely hope your good lady wife makes a full recovery, and that she doesn't have to wait too long for treatment.

Best regards,
Paul

First off, my thoughts and best wishes to TMC's missus. And MCM is all I've been running for a while now.

The brewery was Church Farm. (And I only nodded off once -- about par for the course anyway).

I enjoyed their unusual Kiwi wheat beer (I don't normally like wheat beers) and I also tried their Old Pal bitter and IPA, and had a taster of their ridiculously strong Mad Cow (described on their web site as having an ABV of WOW%). They had a couple of porters and a chocolate stout too, all of which are much more in my line, and I brought a case of stout home.
