Jonnieb has gone from frowning to laughing. I wonder if that's got anything to do with a certain new addition to our team this morning?
And a with a certain feline adding to the numbers as well ... Personally I'm still slowly sliding down the charts. But then I've just been on a brewery tour and now expect to snore (quietly) my way through one of the RSC's productions this evening, so why should I care? |

It's ironic that Apis Tintinnambulator (21 characters) should post a comment about my smiley face just as steam is beginning to come out of my ears!
----------------------------------------The problems of trying to format a report with variable length User names are as nothing compared to those when trying to cope with variable length team names where the range is 3 e.g. IBM to 50 e.g. Digital Ecosystems and Business Intelligence Inst. ![]() |

You're right. I hadn't fully engaged my brain and IBM was at the top of the list.
----------------------------------------![]() And should you be wondering what I'm working on, I'm trying to create a WCG-wide Milestone Report the (draft) first section of which looks like this:
@ Mamajuanauk I took a quick look at Team Challenges and was relieved to see that they are available via the API in XML format so it should be possible to come up with a report. It's on my to do list! ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by jonnieb-uk at Aug 1, 2014 6:57:29 PM] |

You're right it isn't reported at all despite crooks_uk entering us in just about every challenge that we're eligible for. I haven't really looked at them in any detail. I'll investigate, without making any promises or setting a deadline. Many thanks Jonnieb! Can we, the team have some say in the challenges we participate in, in the future? Joining all challanges and not targeting those we have some chance of shinning in may not be the best stratergy... Also we could have focus months, where the team, or those who want to, focus on a given project, and the challange would be more fun, if we have some chance in topping the list! Just a few thoughts... What do others think?

On a not so nice note, we've just been informed that the Doctors have found a largish Tumor in my wife's brain, it ISN'T Malignant (thanking god for that), and it IS operable, so now we're playing the waiting game for further news on when the OP is going to be, what the implications are ect.
----------------------------------------Please pray (or keep my wife in your thoughts, if not religious), and run everything you can on MCM1 for a short while to help boost the completion of this research in my wife's name (Louise). Thankyou I'm about to go 100% on everything for a few days ![]() ![]() ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by themoonscrescent at Aug 1, 2014 7:14:41 PM] |
