A few weeks ago I reportted a bug to WCG - information on the new Diamond Badges was missing from the API. This meant I had to manually check for new Diamond awards. Since the bug is still present I've overhauled the Badge reporting spreadsheet and put in a workaround. I should now report new Diamond badges as they are achieved rather than when I remember to check. wink Is anyone close to a new diamond badge confused

Along the way I discovered I'd missed all of tuseef's badges. Apologies and congratulations!

Evening all.

I'm awfully sorry but my wife has told me to stop doing WCG, we just got our electric bill and it was up significantly. I knew it would go up a bit but it was more than I can realistically sustain in the long term. Once I have got my silver badge in FightAIDS@Home I will stop crunching. Hopefully when my money situation improves I can start up again.
I will hang around the forums and keep an eye how the team is doing.
Thanks for the welcome and all the advice.

P.S. Yes, My wife really does wear the pants in our house! ;)

I will agree with Scribe on this one. Crunching 24/7 on several machines can get expensive so hopefully by reducing the hours crunching to the time that the computer is actually used will help reduce the leccy bill down to a manageable amount. The team has a few users who would be classed as small time crunchers but every bit is welcomed.
I use my dad's computer towards my totals and some days it won't be on and when it is then it's usually a couple of hours while he does his family tree, it's all useful.
Hope you can keep crunching, even at a reduced level. biggrin
