Re: Good morning everyone

I'm feeling a bit down because despit playing really well on on Friday my Giants lost to the Team we beat in the cup too a last minute goal. Then they played last night like they never played together before and lost 5-2. Not looking to good for the playoffs which are 2 weeks away. We have totally dominated 2 teams in the fiirst period to the point of being embarrased for the opposition and we have not been able to score! Sport can be strange at times.

I'm with you there all the way Steve. I'm sure a team as successful as the Giants will bounce back.
Formula 1 season starts next weekend. I of course will be rooting for Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes to get their fifth in a row double championship but other teams are looking very strong this year, Red Bull in particular.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good afternoon all.
Has the mini Beast from the East finished yet? I'm trying to sort out a visit to the UK and I remember how cold I was in January 2017!

Re: Good morning everyone

Had a great sunny day in NI today, reached 11c in my neck of the woods, still cold at night though.

Re: Good morning everyone

Good Morning All.

Thanks for the weather heads up guys. We are having a cold spell here too. It's down to 23 at the moment. After having worked in Egypt (Max 45C) and Kazakhstan (Min -45C max 45C) I never thought that 23 C would feel chilly but it does. Lawn mowing day today I think!

Re: Good morning everyone

Morning team,

I have broken my glasses, without which I'm unable to read anything including my phone, even with the font size increased to maximun. The only spare pair I've got are my presciption sun glasses which I use for driving on the handful of sunny days we get here in NI.

I'm long sighted so I can drive ok but cannot even read my phone.
Currently typing this in notepad with the font size set to 30 and praising my backlighted keyboard. Any posts I want to read are copied into notepad.
Will be next week before I get new ones.

Anyway, I'm only a short time away before getting my second 10yr Diamond badge, 500,000 results and 120 Million points.

Keep on crunching.

Poor old Steve I see that i's not affecting your crunching though. I am waiting to get my second cataract fixed. At the moment my glasses have a reading lens for the right eye and a full range multifocal for the left eye. I can drive without glasses (to be preferred at night here) but cannot read the speedometer (honest officer!)
