Mamajuanauk... it's "per day". Taking the current figures... Many thanks for the clarification DC, not fully understanding the stats is what caused the confusion on my part. Thanks again.Last day: 573.2 days of actual run time Over the last 7 days: an average of 551.6 days of runtime per day Over the last 28 days: an average of 578.1 days of runtime per day The 7 days totals are totals, not averages. Therefore, your 758 days of runtime over the last 7 days are therefore contributing about 108 days of runtime per day to the total. It used to say "7 day average" and "28 day average", but I shortened the words in the interests of aesthetics and making the table fit on one line on a mobile phone. A triumph of style over substance. I notice your laptop has made it onto the performance leaderboard Mamajuanauk. It must be an awesome laptop ![]() The Laptop does it's job, on the first day I see it's at number 10, where will it be in a few days? What time do your stats pages update?

The Laptop does it's job, on the first day I see it's at number 10, where will it be in a few days? What time do your stats pages update? Firstly, your laptop should be in the same place in the table, because it's a measure of points per hour, so more hours won't make much difference. In order to prevent wild anomalies, I only include users who've accumulated at least 1 day of run time in the last 7, and the average is over the last 7 (I simply take the points and run time figures from a week ago, subtract them from the current figures, and then divide one by the other. The stats run starts at 3am UK local time, but takes about 15 minutes I think. It tells you when it was last updated on the front page. Hope that helps.

Good Morning All.
----------------------------------------Yet another year closer to my 100 years of crunching (well CPU years anyway). Also tonight should see 100 million points for team UK. I'm glad there is some good news even though its WCG team UK news and not just DUK news.

I feel sorry for my boy today, he had a bad one.
----------------------------------------Tried walking up grandma's stairs, missed the first step, slipped and head butted the metal stair gate. He was on the fence when I returned, he jumped sideways off the fence into a 4x4 post, huge scrapes on his chest. When we got home he pulled of his shoes and stepped on a short dog hair (we had just groomed our spaniel) and it went right under his skin on his heel. It's completely underneath, had to get stuff from the chemist to help draw it out. And to top it all off, It was bath night! Life is hard when you're 3 1/2. At least he did not say the "F" word. Good evening all.
----------------------------------------Sounds like an eventful day DMNI. Children who never were allowed to make mistakes - never learned anything. But who taught him the F word? (although I guess it is fairly widely used on children's TV nowadays.

Good morning everyone.
DMNI So another day for your son in the rough & tumble that is called life, glad to hear no really serious injuries, more bruises to ego which are lessons in themselves. Some kids like bath night others are not so sure, again all part of growing up. Making up stories to tell them or read from books (silly voices optional) is always fun. ![]() |
