Things are good Bradley, although I could do with another weekend to do all the jobs I've not had time to do in this one.
----------------------------------------I've found I'm getting a steady supply on Android, although my collection of spare phones has just been reduced by 2, thanks to Mazuma recycling. I've just discovered my uprated subscription to the Microsoft Developer Network means I get £95 of free credit for their cloud services, which I reckon equates to another 3 cores :-) I notice that Help Stop TB seems to have ramped up its supply of units, UGM has dropped off, and CEP2 has stopped altogether due to problems with units erroring out, I believe.

Good to hear! I know what you mean...been super busy this weekend, I'm ready for bed already.
----------------------------------------Yes, scratch the not getting many WUs, I've just loaded up BOINC on my main computer here and got tons of units! That's a nice added bonus, I love getting free credit. AWS gives me a some every few months.
Bradley.

Good morning all. I'm playing musical chairs with my projects again. I seem to have got a shed load of ZIKAs but had the strange phenomena of my 15" MBP downloading and then dumping 88 ZIKA WUs in the space of 2 seconds. I haven't seen this on either of my other machines so it remains a mystery. I still jave plenty more WUs waiting on the MBP though so it wasn't a complete clear out. I'm also desperately trying to get my 5 year badge for FAH2 (less than 100 CPU days to go) but whenever I opt in to the project my user average plummets like a stone. Ah well - makes life interesting.

Well, after a bit of a slow start, ZIKA looks to be picking up the pace, I've got a nice full cache of WUs from it. Silver badge next on the near horizon!
----------------------------------------![]() It also looks like SNURK's signatures are a little broken (adding a huge empty space at the bottom and right with the top-end of another window at the bottom), which someone's already pointed out in the signature-thread. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Thargor at May 23, 2016 4:25:32 PM] |

I just got 2 CEP Beta units, estimated time of completion is 20 hours each.
----------------------------------------It will leave me only 2 hours short of a Beta bronze badge. My new medication is working well, better than morphine at the moment. Really want this to work long term. There is lot of new research projects being done now about chronic pain and new drugs are only a few years away, Read a paper about gene therapy which looks promising. Gene KCC2 is injected into the spinal cord, and I quote "delivery of KCC2 produced a complete and long-lasting reversal of nerve injury-induced pain hypersensitivity by restoring chloride homeostasis" Complete and long lasting reversal, I have not heard such sweet words since courting the wife. ![]() |

Good morning everyone.
![]() Darkmatter.NI Really good news, I hope this continues and that the gene therapy becomes more than promising. ![]() |

Good morning all.
----------------------------------------I'm feeling quite excited (although counting my chickens before they are hatched). I've received about 20 BETA WUs for the CEP2 which take around 6-8 hours each (although they predict 2 days!). I only need 90 hours of CPU time for my Ruby Beta badge so here's hoping!
