Merci merci!Mais d`abord, ceci: Houston, you and I both have serious problems! In our (slashdot's) case it`s called the Kentucky Wildcats! They`re crunching faster than we are, they`re getting more time done, and they return more results. And they`re only 10 people! Please step up the pace if you can!! |

It` s time I sent another query regarding the availability of the LINUX client into this forum.
----------------------------------------Team /. has lost a lot of it`s former excellence, and is currently crunching in 3rd place, behind the Kentucky Wildcats and IBM. It`s time we can hit the frontpage of /. again with some great news and impressive results, and draw more people in again! So. When is this linux client going to be ready. It has been almost 10 months since I last heard about progress on this thing. Is anything still alive on the dev side? Please keep us informed! Yes, this is great news. Might help dominating the Kentucky wildcats (BTW, their computing power is awesome !) ;-)
----------------------------------------On this computer, I'm now running Linux, and therefore F@H, most of the time. At home, the other Windows-based PC cannot currently crunch WCG because I switched to broadband Internet connection, and I don't think I can install the ADSL USB modem (that's bad, Ethernet modems are better for multiple reasons), even configuring it "by hand", due to stupid problems with USB peripherals (BSOD when plugging them). |
