They are near flat now, like this :

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

I have recently reinstalled my system; so maybe it is only a scaling graphical problem ?

Also, I have some white strips on my pictures like this, instead of the name of the unit or project :

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

Hello eole6,
One possibility is that you were running a GPU but now are only using a CPU. Anyway, we need more information. Please post at least the first page of Mrssages after a reboot so we will know more about your system.

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

Hello Lawrence,

Thank your for your help; it is the same computer, and before I have not this problem; but I had some problems with my system and now with help of another forum, it is good, except for this above. For example I have reinstalled my system with a backup file. I don't understand very well : "Please post at least the first page of Mrssages" (I am not english); what do you want exactly to know ?

but if it can help I have this :

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

Hi eole6,

I don't know why your chart is showing such huge increase on Jan 30th because according to the BOINCstats you earned 161 BOINC credits that day (not 12 000 as it is shown on the chart you posted - this is probably some error). Do you feel you earned more credits per day prior to reinstall of the system?

Cheers peace

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

Hello eole6,
Sorry for my misspelling. BOINC Manager lists all the Messages since the last reboot. The first 50 lines or so list a lot of information about your system and BOINC. branjo makes a good point. My Grid lists your statistics for the last few months. Does it show a big change?

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

@ Lawrence : is it advanced/event log ? I think my statistics now are not different than before but this is this curious chart now with a big increase then flat; I don't understand why; maybe because I reinstall but I have reinstalled a few month ago and it was not like this ...

@ Branjo : Thank you, I don't knew this page "detailed stats".
How do you think I can erase this big increase on my chart ? Maybe after that this is again OK ? Maybe it is only a scale problem, a zoom effect ?

Except with these white strings on "show graphics" that I don't understand either ...

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

Hello eole6,
Yes, Messages is now named Event Log in BOINC version 7. But if the problem is your statistics, you can select My Grid and scroll down to Member Statistics History. By default, it shows 30 days but you can select 60 days or 365 days. This is your statistics history stored on the WCG web site. BOINC Manager has a local file on your computer that stores a local copy. Something may have gone wrong with it, particularly if you installed a new version of BOINC that stores files in different directories than the old version. I think that this is not a problem unless the WCG web site shows a problem with your statistics.

Re: why statistics don't climb anymore ?

The absence of graphical elements in the screenshot suggests the GPU, which may have indeed been the source of the 11K credit on the first day, went out of service. The NVidia card, 7300 LE ** will be logged in the startup event/message log, if ready to accept, then further into the messages, would maybe say why WCG is not sending any to the device. In my case, it's by choice... it's a laptop that's used to write this at that:

13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Scheduler request completed: got 0 new tasks
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] [sched_op] Server version 701
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] No tasks sent
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] No tasks are available for the applications you have selected.
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Tasks won't finish in time: BOINC runs 99.6%% of the time; computation is enabled 100.0%% of that
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Tasks are committed to other platforms
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Tasks for NVIDIA GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Tasks for AMD/ATI GPU are available, but your preferences are set to not accept them
13-Feb-2013 19:40:22 [World Community Grid] Project requested delay of 11 seconds

The stats in the graph is what it is. Erasing it [the file can be cleared, or set to log more than 30 days if you want, but that requires time to build] will not change the situation... it's a good indicator that either the device or overall contribution abruptly dropped.

** Even cards with a higher serial number, starting 8400 have been recorded as not producing good results, i.e. that's what could have happened after the first day for the 7300: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=GPU#610
