Win 7, yes

WARNING: If you use an app_info file to run GPU tasks you will not be able to run WCG CPU tasks on that machine. This file is basically for high end cards only like a GTX680 or HD 7970. Do not attempt to do this if your card runs above 90% load running 1 task

Then here's what to do. Copy and paste the file below into a text document. Rename the text document app_info.xml.
Then shut down boinc.

In Win7 navigate to the WCG project folder. You get there by going to My Computer>C/drive>ProgramData>BOINC>projects>www.worldcommunitygrid.org
Place the app_info file into the WCG folder, close everything and restart BOINC. You may lose all the tasks you have in cache but it's not a problem. Boinc will download more. This will allow you to run 4 tasks simultaneously and bring your GPU up to 95% +/-. If it's too much load shut down Boinc again. Go back to the file, right click on it and open in notepad. Change the <count>.25</count> .25 to .33 that will give you 3 tasks running simultaneously. Close, save changes. close file, restart boinc, done. Good luck

it works 91%, thank you

I test with 0.125 with 8 calculations, I have a cpus 8 cores for up to 100%

edit : 94% , 3.43 min 8 calculations.

Running 8 HCC-GPU on 1 machine on how many cards? The OP suggests just one 7970 which would be impressive... getting 8 for 1. How many cores did you reserve? Just in plain English for the Guinness book of WCG crunching records.

i reserve 1 thread for 0.125 gpu, only one 7970 with 8 threads gpu

but no calcultions more

Think the warning was given yesterday ... these types of app_info files lead to allowing only HCC, so guess that's what your client just did... get rid of anything not HCC.

My bad. I forgot to warn you that if you use the app_info to run GPU tasks you will not be able to CPU tasks on that machine. I've edited my app_info file post.
