Thanks for the suggestion, Rob. I am actually already subscribed to it. That's how I saw the announcement. But the problem is I only saw it this morning, while at the office and my PC is not on...at home.

There you go... I've not worked through all the Recent Threads new posts yet and not opened mail [something I do only twice a day else it starts ruling live.]. And so yes, see 2 Beta entries in the inbox.

Oh, man...they'll be gone by the time I get home! Good luck to me getting that Beta badge, not to mention finally seeing a GPU WU on my machine.

... @branjo My PC is always trying to snag ATI units, but the question is, have you got any now? Cheers! My PC has not tried to get ATI task in the past, only started today morning (after announcement). No, I have not gotten any and probably won't - as SekeRob wrote, it is for Wins only and my PC runs Mac OS X :-)  Crunching@Home since January 13 2000. Shrubbing@Home since January 5 2006  |

No problem. As you can see, I am still in hunt for lot of other badges. I just started with WCG, so there will be betas also for me in the future :-)

To complete the hijacking of this thread, I will say just this: one of my wishes came through when I started getting Beta WUs last night 9ish. Let my PC run overnight and it did so until the well ran dry around 5AM. Sitting on top of 4+ pages of the stuff. Of course, since those units take just a few minutes to complete, I'm still a very long way from my first Beta badge, but I'll keep my fingers crossed...

OK just to boost this back to the front page of the BETA testing forum. I'v seen a lot of testing being done for the windows machines GPUs and progress seems to be being made. How close is the Windows version to being "Done" for the main project so we can start BETA testing on I hope OSX first but starting for OSX/Linux?

OK now that the Windows GPU science is live on the main project how soon will Linux or OSX beta testing start? I want to help so I'm waiting with baited breath for the OSX version to start.

And I will have 4 machines with graphics cards to offer when the Linux version starts.
