So we can disconnect our machines off HCMD.
----------------------------------------We hope a communication from the scientists -Miss Carbone fisrt -to explicit the achievements in weeks or months ahead. We will pay much attention if so. May be it is a long way for a cure but we are sure to have contributed to the progress of scientific fundamental research. These so called "orphan diseases" shud not be neglected as they offers keys that apply to many others illnesses people may know. Never surrender still crunching  |

I will pray fervently for your longevity and that something will come out of this quickly....I sure hope that Dr. Carbone treats this work as an absolutely sacred trust since lives like yours, and my son's, are hanging on the outcomes of projects like this. For my part, I've kept crunching on those other projects in order to repay the favor to those who worked on this one...perhaps in the vain hope that there will be some accounting made for it in the universal scheme of things. At any rate, let us hope and pray that this collective effort by all of us will save your muscles and eventually, my son's muscles as well. All the best, Mike |

Even if HCMD2 crunching work is complete we are still watching and

Scientists have found a way to treat and slow the effects of FSHMD Facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (see Wikipedia) Here are the links abt the discovery made in Montpellier (south of France): http://sante.lefigaro.fr/actualite/2013/03/28...-contre-myopathie-ladulte They found treatment to reduce the oxidative stress in muscles cells so to counteract the effects of this neurodegenerative disease. Gain of physical endurance 20% and muscle strength +10% A complete report is due soon in medical publications ( and i think wud be issued also in english ) Cheers |

We have finished going through all of the results data (there was a very large amount of it) for the Help Cure Muscular Dystrophy - phase 2 project and have verified that it has all been assembled correctly. We did have to run a few work units to fill in some small gaps that were missed somehow, but now it is all there and ready for the next steps in their research. Thanks again to all of the members for contributing to this project.
