The official project status page: http://www.faculty.virginia.edu/CFSW/status.html as described in the post on Aug 12 by SekeRob in "Crunching chart ?". The status as of Aug 16 shows the project is 71% complete. It also shows "Over 12,000 batches out of 17,000 have been finished!" and "The project is estimated to finish in about 15 weeks at the current rate." Again, this is as of Aug 16.

17000 - Last received 12732 @ 20:00 = 4268 / 200 batches-day = 3 weeks lucky.
----------------------------------------Note that the last 7 day average is 197.7 batches per day. What's on the dashboard [35 days this moment] is thus seemingly optimistic, to include the repair/no reply runout. edit: Of course, it assumes all batches are equal. Does anyone know if the end of the new WUs end with number 16,999 or is there a 17,000 series, ending in 17999? The extra five days at my current crunching might make the difference between ruby and emerald.

Ah, heck... I was hoping to make it to gold. If it were really 35 days left, I have a fighting chance to make it to gold, but 21 days... I don't know. Well, when I make it to silver, I'll re-evaluate my chances to make it to my goal.
----------------------------------------So... crunch on !!!! CJSL ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by cjslman at Aug 18, 2012 12:14:01 AM] |

Well, I posted a new set of messages on the WCG forums v.v. the 7.0.xx client that DA activated [on my request and always existed, but were never printed]. This one means that another project than WCG has a higher fetch priority, so no work if received from this *project*. Use search and you'll find it. Thanks! That might explain other Boinc projects problems I am having too! ![]() ![]() |

They should take a few days too. ![]() ![]() |
