I would not get to wound up in all those stats, the matter is THAT you contribute and that real advance is due to "strength in numbers". Unless you have a lot of money to burn for both equipment and electrical energy, there isn't much of a point in trying to compete with those folks that run whole (dedicated) server/crunching farms... Ralf Agreed entirely. I was just looking for some statistic to give me a very rough indication of how much I contribute in relation to other users. Turned out that I can know that answer down to five decimal places. ("WHOA!") And surprising given my competitive nature, I do not desire at all to compete in this arena... it was mere curiosity only... Thanks, Jeff |

Okay, let me ask a related question. Boincstats tells me "Accumulated more credit than % of all BOINC combined Users: 78.27491%" IN LAYMAN'S TERMS, how would I explain that sentence to folks since that's now in an image in my email signature?
